Well from wednesday night`s warmth in Venue Cymru watching Jersey Boys it was out in gale force winds and heavy rain watching the Ceremonial Start in Mostyn Street of Wales Rally GB 2015 last night.
Despite the truly dreadful conditions there was a good turn out of spectators braving the elements to look at the cars before they were flagged off. The biggest cheers of the evening were for Dolgellau driver Elfyn Evans and co-driver Daniel Barritt in their Ford Fiesta RS WRC representing the M-Sport World Rally Team. Of course there was also a good hand for World Champion Sebastien Ogier and co-driver Julien Ingrassia in their Volkswagen Polo R WRC representing Volkswagen Motorsport Team.
The drivers then drove back to the Deeside Service Park. Today the drivers have 6 stages to contend with starting at Hafren then Sweet Lamb and Myherin. After a regroup in Newtown then stages 4-6 back at Hafren, Sweet Lamb and Myherin. The cars are then due back in the Deeside Service Park just before 6pm this evening.
