Llandudno's Great Orme Tramway has been closed until further notice following a collision earlier today, Tuesday September 15.


Two trams were reported to have wedged into each other towards the summit of the headland at around lunchtime.


No one was seriously injured but one woman was given first aid at the scene after suffering minor injuries.


One of the trams was left slightly damaged and officers from Conwy County Council have tonight begun inquiries into the circumstances of the crash.
