Firefighters are currently at the scene tackling a mountainside fire at Sychnant Pass Road, near Dwygyfylchi, Conwy.

Firefighters from 11 stations are at the scene fighting to prevent the fire from spreading further down the mountainside towards the village of Dwygyfylchi.

Although nearby residents have not been advised to evacuate, this incident is producing a lot of smoke and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service is advising members of the public to keep away from the area if possible
