Detectives Court Appearance

A North Wales police officer has appeared in court today accused of offering

to supply a fat-reducing controlled drug, and on charges of obtaining

and disclosing personal data about a man.

Detective constable Vaughan Roberts, 30, of Cysgod y Bryn, Rhos on Sea, denied all the allegations and was remanded on bail until a hearing on March 19 at Caernarfon crown court.

He is charged with offering to supply Clenbuterol, a Class C drug, in November 2008. It is also alleged that in May last year he obtained and disclosed personal data relating to Peter Lewis without the consent of the chief constable.
